Bonnie was a founding member of the Oxford Garden Club in 2004 as well as a member of the Dorchester Garden Club. Her involvement with local, district and state garden clubs allowed her amazing talent to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to club members and friends. She was President of Oxford Garden Club, Dorchester Garden Club, Director of District I and President of Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland. She was an exhibitor, officer, NGC Master Judge and American Daffodil Society certified daffodil judge. Bonnie loved sharing garden information, teaching old and new members about growing and exhibiting , especially daffodils, for conservation, flower shows and civic projects.
Bonnie avidly supported the NGC-FGCMD Schools. This Fund is available for tuition to any active member of District I who would like to attend one of the four schools offered: Environmental, Gardening, Flower Show and Landscape Design.
Tuition will be refunded AFTER registration. A short, written report to the Bonnie E. Stevens Educational Fund is requested after completion of the course. Reports should be mailed to: Vice President, Oxford Garden Club, PO Box 674, Oxford, MD 21654.
